How your data stays safe

We built Pulsyr so that your data never touches our servers. Here's exactly how it works.

Your database, not ours

When you activate a license, we provision a brand new Supabase project exclusively for your organization. This isn't a shared database with row filters — it's a completely separate PostgreSQL instance with its own credentials, its own storage, and its own auth system.

Pulsyr is a client-side app

The dashboard runs entirely in your browser. When you load Pulsyr, it connects directly to your Supabase database using your license credentials. Our servers are never in the middle — we don't proxy, log, or cache any of your data. We literally can't see it.

Row-level security at the database level

Even within your organization, each user can only access their own data. This is enforced by PostgreSQL's Row Level Security (RLS) policies — not application code. Even if someone bypassed the UI, the database itself would block unauthorized access.

Open-source foundation

Supabase is fully open-source. The database engine (PostgreSQL), auth system (GoTrue), and real-time layer are all auditable. There's no black box. If you ever want to self-host or migrate, the entire stack is available.

Set up your database in 5 minutes

Your data lives in your own Supabase project. Here's how to set it up — it's free and takes just a few steps.

Create a free Supabase account

Go to supabase.com and sign up with your Google or GitHub account. It's completely free.

Tip: The free plan includes 2 projects, 500MB database, and 1GB storage — more than enough for most teams.

Note for larger teams: If your organization has a large number of users or expects heavy usage, you may need Supabase's Pro plan ($25/month) for higher database limits, more storage, and better performance. The free tier works great for teams up to ~50 users.

Create a new project

Click "New Project" in your Supabase dashboard. Give it a name (e.g. your company name), set a database password, and choose a region close to your team.

Important: Save your database password — you'll need it later. Choose the region nearest to your team for best performance.

Copy your project credentials

Once the project is ready, go to Settings → APIin your Supabase dashboard. You'll find four things we need:

Where to find these: In your Supabase dashboard, go to Settings → API and look under "Project API keys". The service_role key is hidden by default — click "Reveal" to copy it. You can also just search for "API" or "keys" in the Supabase dashboard search bar (Ctrl+K) to jump there directly.

Send these to us along with your license key. We'll configure your dashboard to connect to your database. You can email them or share via the contact form.

We set up your tables & you're live

Once we receive your credentials, we'll run the database setup (creates all the tables Pulsyr needs) and activate your license. You'll get an email when everything is ready.
